·         The types of spectra are: Absorption, Continuous, and Emission.

2.    Which is hotter a blue or a red star?
·         The Blue Star is hotter.

3.    Do humans emit electromagnetic radiation?
·         YES!

4.    Which planet looks red from Earth?
·         MARS.

5.    Describe a refraction telescope.
·         A refraction telescope is a telescope with focusing lens; a lens receives and focuses light that is then viewed through a second magnifying lens in the eyepiece.

10.  What is the Doppler Effect?
·         The Doppler Effect is a change in frequency because of motion: a perceived change in the frequency of wave energy, as in sound or radio, travels the distance between the source and the observer changes. (two objects) The wavelength can seem to be changed if one or both of them are moving.
