  1. What are jovian planets made of? Hydrogen and Helium
  2. What are jovian planets like on the inside? The core is made up of rock, metals and hydrogen compounds.
  3. What is the weather like on jovian planets? Strong winds and strong storms
  4. What kinds of moons orbit the jovian planets? Many different kinds of moons orbit the jovian planets.
  5. Why are Jupiter's Galilean moons geologically active? Due to the drive of tidal heating.
  6. What geological activity do we see on Titan and other moons? It has lakes and oceans of ethane and methane.
  7. Why are jovian moons more geologically active than small rocky planets? Because the ice melts and deforms at lower temperatures.
  8. What are Saturn's rings like? They are made up of individual ice particles.
  9. Why do the jovian planets have rings? The rings come from broken up small moons that have smashed into eachother.
  10. Who predicted volcanoes on Io? Stan Peale, Patrick Cassen, and R.T. Reynolds.
